In short

You can use most of our apps without an account. Then what you save stays on your device.
If you sign in with Google, we keep your name, email and picture, and what you choose to save, so it follows you to your other devices.
We don't sell your data, show ads or use tracking cookies.
You can delete your account, and everything with it, at any time.

Who we are

Better Living Group ("we") makes small tools for everyday life and is responsible for the data described here. Write to us at better.living.frankfurt@gmail.com or through the contact form.

What we collect

Your BLG Account (only if you sign in): from Google, your name, email address, profile picture and Google's account id. We never see your Google password.
What you save in our apps (only if you sign in and save it): for example your own quotes in The Motivated Inc., your groups, contacts and birthdays in NoDemores, or your saved jobs in Rbeit, plus your settings such as language and theme.
Other people's details you add, such as the phone numbers in a NoDemores group. We use them only to do what you asked (place your calls or send your reminders). Please add only people who agree to it.
Sign-ins: which app and device you signed in from, and when, so you can see and end your sessions.
Payments for paid plans: a reference, the plan, the amount and how you paid. Payments go through PayPal or your UPI app; we never receive your card or bank details.
Messages you send us through the contact form.
Server logs: your IP address, browser and the pages called, kept for a short time to keep the service running and safe.

Why we use it

To give you your account and keep your data in sync across your devices (this is the service you asked for).
To keep the service safe and working: preventing abuse, fixing faults (our legitimate interest).
To answer you when you write to us.
To send you news about our apps, only if you turned that on (your consent, off by default, which you can withdraw at any time).

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We ask Google only for your basic profile and email address.

Who else sees it

Nobody we sell to: we don't sell or rent personal data. We share it only with the services that run ours: our web host, which stores the data on its servers; Google, for signing in; and PayPal or your UPI app when you pay. We would disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.

Cookies

The website uses only the cookies it needs to work (for example to send the contact form safely and to keep admins signed in). Your choice of day or night look is kept in your browser. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Your account and what you saved: until you delete your account, or delete the items yourself.
When you delete your account, we delete it and everything every app keeps for it right away. Copies in our backups disappear as the backups are replaced in the normal cycle.
Server logs and contact messages: only as long as needed to handle them.
Payment records: as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, to limit or object to how we use it, and withdraw any consent you gave. Write to better.living.frankfurt@gmail.com, from the email address of your account if you have one. We answer within one month. If you live in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.

App details

Some apps say more about what they need on the phone, for example NoDemores and its call and contacts permissions: see the NoDemores privacy policy. Where it says more, it adds to this policy.

Children

Our apps are not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly keep their data. If you think a child has signed up, tell us and we'll delete the account.

Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). Sign-in tokens expire after 90 days and can be ended at any time, and only a few admins can reach the data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date above, and tell signed-in users in the apps when the change matters.
